I have not had any trouble taking off the crank sprocket the times that I have done this work, usually after removing the bolt, the sprocket will just come off although sometimes it takes a little working it side to side to get it loose…

But if I did have a problem getting it off, I would have used a Puller to remove it. If you do not have one the correct size, an auto parts store like AutoZone or Checker will have them for “rent”…

Hope that helps and good luck!

It's been a while but is'nt there some threaded holes on the crank sprocket? If so use some long bolts and thread them into the holes opposite from eachother. use 4 bolt holes if you're paranoid. Just thread them as evenly as possible, and once they bottom out against the crankshaft it will pop right off. Good Luck!

If you have an old pulley. Bolt it on and slighty hit from behin while turning it and t uh g and pull side to side with it on
