How Do I fix my wastegate

Alright, So i just installed my ported big 16g with the 34mm flapper... I have the boost controller set to about 14psi cause im on stock fuel system, but it seems like when I shift the wastegate is sticking open for a second or two then closing. Im running an o2 dump with a 2.5 downpipe and 3in catback. I am using a turbo XS HP boost controllerCould this be because of how my Boost controller is adjusted?

If it isnt affecting performance then I wouldnt worry about it. How is your boost recovery upon upshifting?

Thats the thing, My boost takes a little bit to get back up, its like its lagging for a second after I shift.

My vote is on an old and worn out wastegate actuator (Assuming your B16g didnt come with a new one) The spring inside may be weakened and isnt able to close that big 34mm flapper door shut when you get off boost.

Turbo and wastegate have less then 50 miles on them.

are you venting your bov? if you are, this can cause slow spool after shifting then getting on the gas right away.
