I am going to be installing a Mishimoto radiator and Engine Ice coolant, they suggest completely draining the system of all liquids(water and coolant). I have done coolant flushes multiple times, but never done a complete drain. My question is, is there any way to get it completely dry, so that all there will be is the new coolant in the system?

This is what I do.. jack the car up, take the bottom hose off and let it train, and then use your big purdy mouth to siphon the rest. I don't really recommend it.. it's just my lazy way. There will still be some in the radiator below the point of the hose but since you're replacing it, it really doesnt matter if theres any left in it. You'll never completely drain the system anyway as there's always coolant that will sit inside the block.

Drain the rad, then remove the lowest oil cooler line from the filter housing.

Agree! Yet you will never be able to get 100% of the coolant out. No sense in trying to get it all out. Just go through your normal process and you will be fine.

well, the issue is that its a whole different coolant, and they said it will NOT mix, so I guess drain what I can, and maybe flush with some deionized water, then put new coolant and everything in?

If you're that worried about it mixing, flush it with water, and give it an hour or 2 to dry out before putting the new coolant in.
