how do i check intercooler for leaks?

hey guys i searched and couldnt find it how do u check intercoolers for leaks?? i have a big boost leak and have searched everything but the intercooler any ideas thots????????

They also show you how to do it on Vfaq.

Checking it like the above posted link would be the best method, as you are checking everything as a complete setup. If you are having problems locating the leak, mix up some water with some dishwashing soap & put it in a spray bottle, then spray all the possible leak areas, if there is a leak you will be able to see some bubbles. If you did just want to check the ic you would still basically use the same method, block off one end of the ic & pressurise the other. If you don't have a gauge to verify if there are any leaks then you could just submirse the ic in water (this is assuming its off the car) and look for bubbles, indicating you have a leak.
 
i usually just fill it with water and swish it around a bit. if water is coming out of some place it shouldnt be, then you know you've got a problem. also might wanna use gasoline to do this because then it will also clean out the IC while you test it for leaks.
