My car is at a friends, and i need to get some rear rotors, but i dont know what size they were stock. The car is fully loaded w/ power everything. Any suggestions?

Call any auto parts store or tire store they should have a database with all the cars sizes. :thumb:

Wow, first post and title of thread have nothing to do with one another. 215/40rz18 is the biggest i heard for street rims and rubber on 2g's. And if your buying rotors from any store they should know what size you need by application. If they don't and asked you for the size, don't buy them from there go somewhere else.

If your really looking for rear brake rotors your going to need your VIN to figure out if you need the special vented rotors or the more common solid ones. IIRC, 95 cars had both but it might have only been on the GSX. I remember that there was a change but not all the details. Runnin your VIN in CAPS will get you the right part.

Thanks to everyone, and to oldman420 i was referring to the size of the stock tire because different cars were equipped with different rotors according to rim size:thumb:oh yea and i said that it was loaded because i was thinking that maybe all the cars that were loaded came with 16's.:)

It has nothing to do with wheel size. Early 95's came with larger vented rear rotors. Lots of parts stores get this mixed up.

GS,GST and GSX all came with a 16x6.5" rim and all were equipped with 205-55-16. The gs, gst, and late gsx all 3 had the same size rotor. The early 95 gsx came with a vented, larger diameter rear rotor. The rs only came with rear drum brakes as did some of the gs cars. The wheel size has nothing to do with the rotor size at all. If you have rear disc, you have only 2 choices with a 95 gsx and only 1 choice with a gst.

okay you guys here's the thing.. my friend wants to gimme a good deal on his rims... except that they come off a subaru wrx.... i was reading the offset of the wheel offset +55 mm which is on stock wrx.
i was wondering but they are different and sick non stock rims, they're 17's thats all i know.. and ofcourse 5 bolt pattern...if they would fit.. or what i would need in order for them to fit on my 1990 eagle talon. thank you very much.
