yeah but this way people are forgetting to post there times and such is the problem half the team isn't posting there times... at least this way everyone can post times and it will make the competition much closer and more fun if you ask me


nothing is wrong with the honor system so far that I have noticed...

I'd like to see how I compare as far as GT4 skills... but I don't know if I can do a whole race season. We should setup some smaller specific competitions. Something simple like: best lap time and overall race time with Toms Supra on Infineon with difficulty turned up to 10. I'd say leave all assist devices on, run a 3 lap race with tire wear off and see how everyone does. The reason I say leave all the easy stuff on is because when people take pics of their times, there's no way to verify they turned the stuff off.

Maybe we can setup a few threads with different competitions or something. Choose different cars and different tracks.

We said you can run with it off or on it doesn't matter, what ever makes YOU faster. I find I'm fastest with the car set at 1 all the way through. Others are faster with it at 2 or 3. Its your personal preference

Guess I should read through all 10 pages first to see what's going on here. I'm thinking it might be easier to keep up with if we have these competitions split up into multiple threads... like "GT4 Competition, Supra on Infineon", and "GT4 Competition, 350Z on Laguna Seca". Then have all the specs for each competition inside and have people post their times. Know what I mean?

I know what you are saying.

That would be easier for the people that dont want to commit to doing this series of races and just want to pick and choose which races they compete in.

I can't play GT4 witgh assist's turn on they make it so stupid and unrealisitic...


BTW I use a Controller too I like the wheel but not 150$ much...
 
I use a controller and have come in first place so I don't think a controller is all that bad. :rocks:

I agree about making seperate threads. I was going to have this one locked and start a new one once this season was over...although it looks like it might not continure for too much longer if people continue not submitting times.

Luda, team Evo has been havign trouble getting team members to submit times. Check with Bryan, he probably wouldnt' mind you jumpin on their team for now to help them out a little bit
 
I'd be all for the mini competitions that Chris mentioned. I spend too much time plowing through the game and doing photomode cometitions at GTPlanet to engage a race series with my full attention. Oh, that and the whole job/wife thing. :p

Set 'em up Chris, so I can stop hijacking the thread. :p

Chris, you want to set up a couple of other threads with one make one track races? Like the Audi R8 at Infineon and Tom's Supra at Tokyo?
I'm down for that but I'm gonna focus on the races right now for this thread.
