HOTBITS take a pounding at LSPR rally

Well I just got back from the LSPR rally in Houghton Michigan in the UP... The car ran great and the dampers worked perfect...but I do think I had a bit to much spring for the soft sidewalls of the Yokohama A033 gravel tires I was running...
Note it was my girlfreinds first time co-driving...

What a rush. So how fast were you going to get all 4 off the ground? The video really puts it into perspective just how small the margin of error is. I have to give it to you....rally drivers are a different breed (couple of screws loose )

The fastest I saw on that stage was a bit over a 105... However I dont look all that much... In-car does NO justice for any form of racing... It just makes you look SO slow...

Im sure the car was going 70mph or so to get off the ground like that...

Great driving. I love rally races and the Hotbits. I just wished that I could justify buying the Hotbits roadrace setup and also do rally races. Rallying is soooo cool.

chris: i would have had photos (like the ones i took at sno*drift) if i would have been able to make it. a few days before my wife and i were going to head up there, we got hit by a deer and it destroyed our 240sx convertible. so we called the trip to houghton off.

LP: i'm dexter from special stage. i love that first picture. keep up the good work and maybe i'll catch you in atlanta in january.

go to snodrift It will be held in Atlanta, MI again, the last weekend in January. Thursday, Friday and Saturday, January 25th, 26th and 27th.

rally cars in the snow is great i will be up there tech inspecting for the 4th or 5th year.
