I just installed my AEM AFPR and there is not any where on the FPR for a fuel pressure gauge to be mounted. Where can I tie my fuel pressure gauge in to so i can read my fuel pressure? Thanks for the help in advanced.:talon:

EDIT: I want the gauge mounted under the hood**

There are no extra ports on the side to allow for a gauge install? That strikes me as wierd since the Aeromotive's usually have 2 extra ports over and above the feed and return. Do you have a picture so we can have a look?

Here are a few pics..

That almost looks like a Honda AFPR. I'm sorry to ask so many questions, but where did you pick this up? All pictures I've seen of the AEM regulators we use shows extra side ports for a gauge. That doesn't even look like the right one for our application. Here's a pic of the one we would use:

Yes, I should have stated that before. It is from a Honda, but he said it will bolt right up. It looks like it will also. If I were to make this FPR work with my application where else could I get the reading for the gauge from?

Where else? Your going to need a T fitting on the return line with the right thread for your gauge.

The return line? Which side is that on the fuel rail? The side with the FPR or the opposite side by the BOV?

You want to know the pressure before the return port not after it. Putting a T fitting on the return line won't tell you the fuel pressure. With this type of regulator you would need to tap the rail or use the B&M filter mounted gauge.

Does anyone know if this FPR will work on my car since it is from a honda?
Don't know. It all depends on how well it fits the rail and if there's enough room for it.
If I had one I'd pull the fuel rail or just the stock FPR and see if the flange matches up, if the tilt is ok then try bolting it up.

What do you mean by "tilt". Because the way that the flange is on my AEM FPR it seems that it will have to be mounted side ways.

Ok well ill try to hook up the regulator and see if it works. Ill let you know what happens thanks for all the help.:thumb: :talon:

Yeah, I'm 99.8% sure that that regulator won't fit on a DSM.

As far as the fuel pressure gauge; If you are using a regulator without an available pressure port, you have a couple options:

1. Use the B&M (or similar) kit that mounts on the fuel filter (B&M part number 46054).
2. Mount a fitting and gauge inline between the fuel filter and fuel rail.
3. Drill and tap the fuel rail.
