hood pin alternative?

Get hood pins. Its worth it. I wish I would have, my hood flew up on me, lucky for me I was stopping when it happened. Didn't get the windshield, but really F'ed up my hood

i dont know why the question of using hoodpins or not even comes up. lets see, you just spent 400+ for a hood and your windshield is what? ill take a guess and say another 300? i dont know the prices for a windshield, but damn, wouldnt you just spend 30 bucks to save yourself from 700+ worth of damage?!? i know people like the clean look of a hood without pins, but damn people, lets think IF there was some other non-ghetto 100% asured way of securing a hood other then pins then go for it, but until then. bah, get pins

or way more than 700, imagine if you hit someone cause you can't see after your hood flies up. Its your fault and then you are stuck with a sh1tty claim on your insurance and raised rates for the next year or two. Not to mention you could seriously hurt someone. And I don't mean "you", I mean "you" as a general example of anyone.

on the eclipse i used to have...i didnt run hoodpins and it was fine for like a year..then it smashed in my windshield..luckily no hood damage but it was 400 for a new hood and 220 for replaced windshield..then i bought another..put hood pins in it and the piece of crap VIS hood DELAMINATED and hit my windshield anyways...didnt break it htat time..but eff..just dont mess iwth them..if you do.. put some hood pins in it.
