This is going to be a stupid question I already know but want clerification... divided housings.. work best and should only be used with divided manifolds correct?
 
Yes, single with single, divided with divided. You can run one with the other but it just doesn't perform well. And divided will always be better than single.

thats what I thought... thank you sir.. looking at a hx40 housing to replace the one I have now as it should bolt on.. only thing.. the manifold is single so id prob be looking for a new one of those as well... if i do that might as well go t3 and dump the t4 all together..

Something to consider- there are no single-scroll factory Holset turbine housings. They're all twin-scroll; either T3 or T4 flanged. If you want a single-scroll T3, you'll need to use the Bullseye Power .70 a/r housing.

thanks justin.. yeah i talked to him already.. its a t3 but like i said.. its prob time to dump the t4 and go to t3.. thanx for the look out though..

Either the seller has no idea what he's talking about, or the picture isn't the housing he's selling....because the housing in the photo clearly has a T4 inlet.
