Ok I'm gonna get a Holset H1e. Has anyone installed this on a Talon? I was either thinking of using the Holset hotside but I wouldn't know where to get the o2 housing and I have to buy a T4 flanged manifold. Now if I buy the BEP Turbine Housing, I can use the stock manifold and my o2 dump.. Only question is which one ? Bullseye Power Turbos Has anyone actually ordered a Turbine housing for a H1E/Hx-40?

yeah I ordered mine directly from Bullseye, and it indeed is a direct bolt on. I am running a ported 2g manifold and wastegate setup off of the o2 housing

@Ckrell- The only problem with that adapter is the turbo will be further down and I cannot use my o2 housing.

@Asrdave- Thanks, I wasn't sure how well it would line up. Do you remember how you contacted them? I sent a email to the site about 4 days ago and haven't received a reply. Not sure if they are just really busy or if emails aren't the best way.

Nope, you're the very first.

You can't just "buy" a direct-fit o2 housing for a turbo that was never meant to go on our cars to begin with.

Now if I buy the BEP Turbine Housing, I can use the stock manifold and my o2 dump.. Only question is which one ? Bullseye Power Turbos

You'll need an o2 housing that allows the use of an external wastegate. These housings are no longer available internally-gated.

Just out of curiosity, have you bothered to look at the hundreds of pages of info on this site from the last 7 years regarding using a Holset turbo on a DSM?

On the other end of this brannigan, often we are frustrated when new threads are created by members who should have searched for more information first. Hell the first post in the Holset FAQ thread tells you all about the H1E.

Three months should have been plenty of time to master the "search" feature on our site. At the header bar of every thread on this site is a feature that allows you to search within that thread for information. Load any of the Holset threads and search for "H1E" and I'm sure you'll find enough information to keep you occupied for five minutes or so.

My apologies but that's the first time I've seen "search this thread". I've used the Search function and have been looking on here and cummins forums. I'm not looking for info on it. I really wanted to know about the BEP part. How well does it line up/ fit. Can I use my existing o2 dump. What happens with its internal wastegate. would it be worth it to buy the BEP part or just go with a T4 flanged mani and a Holset o2 dump
