This is great info! Can one of the mods copy it to the Tech archive?

yes it is. just try and get CRANKBENDER to do a writeup. maybe he will. i dont think he's on here very much anymore. i ended up buying the Magnus spacer instead of the Hondata from extremepsi.com it was only $35.00. i was told from Numerous sources to NOT use RTV when installing it. Also on the hood, i was going to figure out my vent placements since i will be running a Tubular EX. manifold and don't want alot of water pouring on it which may cause it to defect. (50/50 possibility)

Hmm, the last time he was on here was November, 2005 :( Maybe one of the mods can contact him, if not I'd be glad to write it up.

For vent placement, I'd look into what the Evo does, I think crankbender also suggested to put it basically over the valve cover. You could also put a custom louvre in it to keep the water from falling in.

its actually 2 rear facing outlets to be exact.

Take a look at some of the rally sites for vents. You will have to cut the hole and then put a shield in front of the hole (bonded to the hood). This will effectively draw air out the vent.

RRE use to have some example vents for sale on their site.

Put the vents about 8 inches from the windshield pointed at the windshield and they will draw the air through the engine bay. An extra vent just above the exhaust mani moved back to directly over the front edge of the head/valve cover will help keep the hot air from that area from getting to the rest of the bay.
