2G holy intercooler! 6inches thick $170

By the description, it sounds like the core alone is 45 inches not including the tanks, so that's probably gonna be hard to fit under a 2g bumper.
Either way, that's way bigger than you need. A 26x12x4 core should be good for 1000hp, anything much bigger than that and you're just adding unnecessary weight.
Since your build is for a drag only car, you'd probably be better off with a water/air intercooler vs air/air. Something to look in to.

To answer your question, yes I think it would work for 1000hp.

For it to work for 1000hp on a 2g though you could never have a front bumper and the IC piping would have to be routed through the wheel wells. The VRSF core is 28.5" long and the front bumper barely wraps around that, this one is 45" and 2.5" thicker... LOL

If you're still considering it walk out to your car with the tape measure at 45" and center it on the radiator support.

^Agreed.

Or, a hotpipe and go to a true drag fuel like methanol. Most guys making that kind of power are't driving these things on the street.

I've been DD'ing a W/A intercooler for a long time now in Texas heat (100+ degrees). It's not just for a drag car.
