He is not looking for a bolt on housing. He was looking for the T-3 housing. You did give him the correct link though.

I think the hx35 is a better choice for my new setup but I can’t decide which housing to run. I want to use my punishment-racing t3 with 44mm waste. Hers my new set:

AEM EMS
Ported 6 bolt cylinder head
Manley 1mm over valve
Crower spring with titanium retainer
Supertech Reduced OD Valve Stem Seals
Ferrea copper/bronze guides
HKS cam 272/272
6 bolt bottom end
Eagle H-beam rod
ACL Race Series Main and Rod Bearings
Tial 44mm wastegate

Don’t know what kind of piston to run. Maybe Wiseco 8.3:1 or the 1400hd. It will be my dd. I want to run water/methanol but in the future.

Have a housing made for you!!! I just did. It seams to work very well. I am running a hx 35 and I had a old t3 garett housing machined for the holset. Set me back a whole 100 bucks and bolts into my exhaust. Only took the guy 1 hour to make too!!

How much power do those hx35s make. I have a hrc super 16g and it flows like crap, buddy that i bought the car from put it on. From my understanding is that it uses a T3 flange and it looks like my manifold has an adapter for the t3 flange. Could i theoretically put a holset on there instead?

I’m going to buy the bep t3 .70 for an hx35 but I was wondering if I wanted to upgrade to an hx40 pro could I use the same bep?

you cant use the same housing for an hx35 and hx40.

really? are you sure about this? On turbo trader's site it has an option for the housing to be in hx-35/hx-40 and doesnt make you choose one or the other, this makes me think they are the same.
