as the title says, is it worth buying? i read the faq, but i want more personal experience, pictures, data ect. could i use stock exhaust (turbo back)? what about the oil feed lines? how would the down pipe work? let me know what you think :thumb:

If its an original h1c with original hot side, no exhaust wont work, downpipe will have to be modified and your stock oil lines definitely wont fit, the drain is very important to get right, and you'll be piecing together the feed line im sure

yeah its original, and whats so hard about the drain?

Yeah you should find everything you need in the search forums, My previous setup was a hx35 w/.55 bep housing and was pretty much a bolt on affair, minus some shaving of the motor mount and denting of the water pipe. Really the only major fab work is the -12an oil drain line, but robertbaxley 03 has an excellent video on you tube on how to build one. Good luck with your build

i dont know how i didnt see that thread, thanks!

well ill be getting it for free :D so its worth it, the thread should be titled "worth putting on" haha

Same turbine as a HX35.

Downsides- the 54mm and smaller H1's are not surge-ported and will surge like hell when installed in a .55 BEP housing which is less than half the a/r of the housing they were designed to be used in. Combine that with the weak thrust hardware, and it'll likely make decent power for a relatively short period of time.
