I have a HX35 8 blade, it has some miles but no shaft play...yet. I was looking online for a new cartridge rather then rebuilding, could I use a 99-02 7 blade? basically is it swappable?

also what should I look for in a new cartridge?

I saw this but yeah its ebay.

No. The 7-blade wheel is smaller than the 8-blade.

Why someone would replace a Genuine Holset cartridge with no wheel damage with a Chinese knockoff is beyond me. Why not buy a Genuine repair kit for your turbo and rebuild it yourself for +/- $100?

alright thats what I was looking for, i'll just get a rebuild kit for safety measures. Any recommendations besides ebay for rebuild kits or some ebay sellers good?
