Is HKS cams worth the money or would another brand such as Crower be just as good

HKS does make excellent cams. I HIGHLY recommend Comp's Cam line. Their 272's (101200) are awesome. We use them quite a bit in both DSMs and EVOs and net great results!

HKS definitely has good products, you get what you pay for. But other companies have decent cams as well which is why most of the people on this site that have cams are a little lower in price from HKS but they still get the job done.

HKS cams are great, but i wouldnt say they are much better then some other cams that are lower priced such as Crower, Comp, or FP.

^^x2, you're paying more for the name, but as long as the lift, duration, etc. are the same, bc cams and other brands make great cams and have for a while with other brands (i.e. chevy, ford, etc) so it's not like they are clueless about cam making
