HKS SSQ BOV on stock IC piping???

hey i wanna go grap a new hks super sequential bov today but first i was wondering if it will fit on my stock ic piping and if it direcly replaces the stock bov???

It should fit perfectly fine with your stock UICP. That is if it comes with the correct flange which fits your DSM. Also do keep in mind that the HKS BOV does not come standard with the recirculation kit. So this might be a problem if you aren't set up to vent to the atmosphere.

No, its not a direct replacement. You need to get the adapter for it to put on the stock UICP but save yourself the money and buy the upgraded UICP with the flange and also dont for get the resurculating kit.

The upgraded UICP you can get from most DSM vendors such as dejontool.

If you dont' get the recirc kit your BOV will vent and you will suffer perfiormance and possible driveability issues.

yo need the resirculation kit also...you can get that wherever your getting the bov or most places that sell that bov.

You need this upgraded intercooler pipe in order to get any sort of performance.

I'll be running my hks ssqv vented on stock piping until we get my FMIC piping welded up and a 1g flange on it. It will work fine no problem, if you dont want to vent get the peice for the hks ssqv that makes it recirculate and you can mount it in pretty much the same position as he stock bov so you should be good.

If you already have a aftermarket uicp and dont want to buy a completly new one, there is this option of buying the authority 1g bov hks flange, were discussing it in this other thread here.

as far as vented or recirculated, some people dont seem to have problems venting into the atmosphere, but most do. i got the recirc pipe from extreme psi for 15 bucks, its not really a big money item and helps your car run smoother.
