You don't really need it unless you get a Standalone like MS or AF/X and even then only when you really open up a lot of airflow...I don't see why you would need a Wideband O2 system with just Exhaust and Intake...don't worry about it right now.
 
It really depends on your car, there's no specific HP gains you get out of it. Usually people will use a MegaSquirt if they are going turbo because it is fully customizable whereas the AF/X ECU from Howell "learns" on it's own. If you plan on turbocharging soon then you would need to get a standalone since our computers aren't tune able. Otherwise you don't need these really.
 
Alright sweet. I might be planning on turboing my car in collage. But the odds are ill search around for a AWD DSM or buying that new 2 door subaru sti that they might be coming out with.
