after fixing alot of boost leaks my hks bov screw popped out some how i guess it pushed out with boost, or it was just too loose. i am NOT venting.... is this a major boost leak i need to fix, or can i just screw any screw that fits into it, or do i need to order another HKS brand screw

Same exact thing happen to me on my greddy type s. I jsut found a differnet screw and i put some of that white tape stuff on it so it didnt leak. Not a good solution wish somebosy would answer this for us but it has worked for past few months.

This is probably horrible advice, but I just took the top part off put a few quarters at the top to act as a blocker and stiffening device, that way it would be stiff enough and not leak. I also filled the screw hole with rtv.

1. New bolt with nut(Will be used as a jam nut)

2. J.B. weld the hole closed.

Yes, you will have a boost leak. The bolt adjusts how far the valve will open. i.e.-bolt all the way in, valve opens a little, bolt all the way out or no bolt, maxium valve travel.
