HKS air intake...crap

Ok i just got my HKS short ram airintake that i paid like 185$'s for and it's just a round green filter a brackett to mount my mass air flow sensor on and a round plastic peice to connect my fliter to my MAFS. i was kinda expecting to get a replacement pipe for the crappy plastic/rubber one my ? is does anyone know if thats all i'm supposed to get b/c i'm a little disapointed in it or is this stuff just really expensive?

Yeah, I have the same intake for my ride. Thats all you get...no piping...its the "honeycomb" foam from HKS that makes the intake unique. And if you live somewhere that local Law Enforcement do "ref-checks", its smog legal/street legal. If you have not installed it yet, I would suggest you do cuz that might lighten your mood. I definately noticed a difference and it was my first mod.

you just paid 185$ for something that is equivalent to a 40$ (or less) ebay purchase. Shop around next time...
