I just got my HKS short ram air intake in and all that came with it was a green air filter cone,a bracket to connect my mass air flow sensor, and a round clamp to connect the filter to the mass air flow sensor. i am disappointed in this beacuse i paid around 185$'s and i am still running off my stock rubber/plastic intake pipe. does anyone know if this was all i was supposed to get or is this stuff just expensive? also if so does anyone know where i can get a good after market pipe to replace my stock one?
-thanks-

I just bought a $9 aluminum one off of E-Bay today that comes with everything you just bought as well as the new intake pipe. I don't know how great it will be, but I am sure it will get the job done. If you want to look at some good non E-Bay options, here is a good link for you and these guys are sponsors for DSMtuners.com .

Hope that helps,

You recieved everything you where supposed to get. HKS is just expensive. K&N for $100, go to e-bay and find a Injen knock-off pipe for cheap, a little clean-up with a Dremel tool and you have a new snorkel. Although it is really a 'bling' item and you will not see any gain replacing the rubber snorkel.

I beg to differ on that I noticed a very small throttle response when I had a 56Trim on a smaller turbo yes you would notice not a damn thing.

Very true,

Come to think about it now, I only had my Injen on with a t-25 and 14b, and a evo 16g.

went to a 3" pipe with the 56trim for a week becuase my inlet was 4" then i just got rid of the 3" intake so then i was just sticking the filter right on the turbo see my gallery if you dont understand.

So as far a a Hard intake your ###### right does jack crap sence its so small anyways.
