ok well i got a ram air intake and i wanted to upgrade to a cold air intake so i took the stock tubing and added to the end of the ram pipe to make a cold air intake it looks really good but will this help me get more power

Not much. Great commuter car but if you want something fun out of the box go invest it a gst or gsx. You can make great power in 420a with big upgrades. It always made more sense to me to start with something already turbo you've got a lot more potential!!

Honestly i know this sound weird but my roomate, focker420, before he turbo'd his 420a he installed some crane cams and valve springs, aem cam gears, and then he got it tuned with a safc. His mileage went up like crazy, on our roadtrip at one point we got 750km to a tank. It also felt like finally all his bolt-ons were making power, before he slapped so much stuff on (headers, msd, underdrive pully, intake....pretty much anything you can bolt on) but it wouldn't make a diff.

Once he did the head and got it tuned it made a HUGE difference.

you could start with the baics like intake, exhaust, ingnition, or just get a gst

Wow. Did you not notice the OP's question? It definitely will not hurt anything, as cooler air is always better, however as stated you will most likely not feel anything with a N/T.

not worth to change to a CAI imo, very little difference, if you really want to get some power out of your 420a, i'd look into bolt-ons, P&P ,cams. etc.

i agree with sticking to a sri..... something about a cai freaks me out... especially with the fact that our cars come decently low and sucking up water into the motor would not be fun to deal with
