I have a set of HKS 280 cams for both intake and exhaust. I am now to the point where I would like to degree them in spec with HKS’ data for valve events. Unfortunately I have not been able to find these specs. I emailed HKS and requested the info but all they were able to give me was the max lift. See below:

I believe this information is correct because I was able to find information for 264 and 272 cams which have the same lift just different durations. Here is that info below:

My question is this:
1. Does anyone have a cam card for the HKS 280’s?
2. If not, is there a way to use the lift information and previous 264/272 cam info to determine my valve events so I can degree these 280 cams?

Any information is helpful, this is my first time doing this. Thanks in advance

These look like the evo's HKS numbers. There actually has to be a difference on the lobe surfaces between the evo's and the dsm's since they have different specs on their cam cards so I think these may be off (although maybe they will get you close, I have no idea)

For example, here is the cam specs for Evo HKS 272 cams vs the dsm HKS 272 cams.

Well the DSM 272s were designed and developed in 1990 while the 280s for both cars were made at the same time in the early 2000s. They are the same.
HKS indicated in their email the lift should be 10.30 and 9.80, which matches the earlier DSM specs for both the 264 and 272. Unless the 280's were completely redesigned and they got it wrong in their email...
