well after installing slim fans my coolant temp is at 220.
before installing the fans it was at roughly 190 and didn't go past 195.
i'm stumped, when i installed the slim fans i had to remove the upper hose and quite a bit of coolant came out. no worries i was just going to top it off.
installed the fans and took a drive yesterday.
the temps would reach 220 when i'm driving slow like city streets
but when i went on the freeway the temps went back to around 190.
i also tried blowing my heater all the way up which would slightly lower the temps

the stock fans was pulling right meaning its blowing air into the engine bay.

OEM has puller fans. Meaning they pull air from the outside thru the radiator and into the engine bay. Pushers push air from the outside into the engine bay. Pullers must be mounted inside the engine bay, and pushers on the front of the radiator. Also, what SIZE fans are you running, and are they turning on at the correct times?

Tuft a piece of paper and verify they're spinning the way you thought. Even with my terribad Chinafans that came with my shrouded rad, and a big FMIC, I can keep my car under 220* in NC summers.

If all else fails on your trouble shooting. Run a cooler thermostat Beck/Arnley offers a 160 tempeature thermostat.

make sure all the air is out of the system... let it run with the cap off for a good amount of time with the heat on high

Yes... This ^^^
And to add to it a bit...
After you're confident that it's fully topped off with the engine running, put the cap back on and top off the overflow if needed. Then... whenever it's parked long enough to completely cool down, pop the cap again and make sure it doesn't need an extra top-off. That way you're sure to have it filled fully. Good luck:thumb:

problem solved the slim fan didn't have enough power so i put in my stock clipped the fans a little bit so it won't rub on my j pipe. now my temps won't go past 190. thanks guys
