I am getting really high knock counts at full boost and also at part throttle. I have done everything posted on these forums to control phantom knock, set base timing, no boost leaks. Knock and o2 sensor has less than 100 miles on them. I have the battery moved to the back with it grounded directly to the frame. Under the hood i just have the little ground wire from the firewall to the intake manifold, I dont have the big one from the firewall to the starter mounting bolt. Would this cause my high phantom knock. Also my low fuel trim is usually really high (lean). This is all on stock boost levels on a 16g, fpr @ 38psi, 450cc,

I have a similar problem as you have. Except mine is only at partial throttle w/no
boost. I'm currently working on adding some grounds to my engine. I also thought
possibly the alt.

I'll let you know if I get anywhere with this. :thumb:

I never said i was running lean. My low fuel trim is high. this doesn't explain part throttle and full throttle knock (highest constant knock count is 21 at full boost). there would be no explination for my car to run lean with my current set up.

Well I guarantee you it's not because you are missing a grounding strap.

What does your o2 look like at WOT?
