high idle after driving!!!!!

i have a 96 tsi awd when i drive the car for about a half an hour it has really high idle like 2000-3000rpms, or if i turn it off and start it up within 10-15 min it also does this. it wont go away until the car is cooled down or just sits for like 20 min. in the morning it idles fine no jumping and only longer rides this happens but not always. i thought it could be the IAC solenoid but usually the rpms jump like crazy right? any suggestion? thanks.

i have that problem. it is the ISC but mine dont go as high as your mine stop around 1500.
i still havent fix the problem because i found a way to fix it just by tapping on it a couple of times when the car is on then shut it off and turn it back on my car would idle back to normal around 500-800. then it would do it again in a week or so.
