High Cold Idle

I have noticed that when the engine is cold the idle is around 2000 rpm, but after 40 seconds or so it dropes down to around 800. Is that normal? My IAC is working, and tps is set to specs. Also i have noticed the injectors tick pretty loud, like the 32lb/hr ones on my mustang.

When the engine is cold, the choke makes your car rev a little higher, mine revs at about 1500 when its cold then slowly drops to about 1000, then to 800
