Hid Kits?

Hey i was wondering if anyone has any HID installed on there car?I bought some halo projectors and the lighting is poor.So i have some cash in hand i was lookin into some hid. I really dont wanna spend 500.I was looking for a lower price.Any good brands anything i should watch for when buying them.? Thanks

I have HID's on my 2g that im selling. Go to www.hidplace.com to check out some single beam kits, they go for about $380/

I had a friend install a HID kits on his car. I dont know if this a problem with every car but, he kept burning the wire that leads to the switch to turn on the lights. I dont know if it was demanding too much amperage, or voltage, but i know summitracing.com sells a kit for that problem. By the way this was on a non-DSM. Once again not trying to mislead or scare anyone from it.
