Hey everybody! I recently registered here a little while ago. I have been over at DSMtalk for a while now. I bought my 95 GS-T about a year and a half ago and fell in love with DSM's. It's only got 98,000 miles on it, and it has never seen snow, which is not common in Northern Michigan!
I am finally getting around to putting some aftermarket parts on (I wanted to get the maintenance stuff out of the way i.e timing belt, hoses, plugs, wires) and I recently purchased an Injen Intake. I know, I know, people are going to ask me why I spent the money, but I believe crap in equals crap out so I always go the high road. Plus I love my car too much to put anything less then the best on it.
Here is my question tho, it's just a run of the mill Injen intake, but it works in conjunction with an aftermarket BOV (GReddy S-type is what I am buying next). Here is the link to help out: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/INJE...38634QQitemZ8034949904QQrdZ1QQsspagenameZWDVW
This will work for a completely stock set-up right? I won't need to upgrade anything to make this part work, other than an aftermarket BOV. Would a 1G BOV work with this?
I am also purchasing RRE's Upper and Lower IC piping kit seen here: http://www.roadraceengineering.com/parts/greddy/greddypipe.gif
These parts should all work together right? Like I said, I am new to this type of engine, so i want to make sure it will work. Soon enough, I will also be picking up an Apexi N-1 full 3" exhaust. With the IC piping, intake and exhaust, what gains can I expect (in hp)?
Thanks for the help, and hopefully soon enough I won't have to ask so many questions about things fitting or not
