i got a 97 talon tsi awd and everytime i start driving from a stop... i hear a click coming from the front right sometimes hard or sometimes you barely can hear it, does anyone have any idea????

also how can i connect my boost control, i have a line fron wastegate to turbo, i am not using the solenoid... please help guys

Do you still have the solenoid? If so, just look up the stock 2g vacuum diagram. Personally, I'd just pick up a mbc.

x2, Check and see if the boots are torn. My boots were torn and the cv joints went from clicking and progressively got worse and louder 'till I got a loud grinding noise.

Wheel bearing or cv joint. To test RF cv, go to empty parking lot, turn steering wheel all the way left and go. Also try other way. For bearing, raise wheel and turn and listen.

I have a somewhat similar problem. I diagnosed it as my throwout bearing, because it rattles a little at idle as well, and when I push the clutch it stops. But when moving through the gears, (under acceleration) it clicks. Just something to think about if it isn't the CV.

Ive had multiple throw out bearings go to hell and it doesnt sounds like a rattle.. Not like the noise the OP stated. CV joint or wheel bearing.. If its one of those you will need to replace the whole hub assembly.

Could be a ball joint, mine would clunk when i took off in my old car...it was just dry inside....it only had a bit of play, but enough to make a click click sound when i stopped or started off...could hear it a lot going through a drivethrough with a wall beside you to echo the sound.
