dsm link helpppp

okay so i am installing dsm link, i cannot figure out the problem

i insalled the chip, reconnected all connections to the ecu, turned key, and the cel stays on. it doesnt go off after 5 seconds like its supposed to, nor does it crank

i changed wires 1-4 and 2-3 like your supposed to with the 1g cas and 95 eprom ecu, just to see if it would crank, still nothing.

so i took the ecu back out, put the factory chip back in and set the plug wires back to how they were

cranks right up, cel goes off. no problems

take ecu back out, change plug wires again, reinstall dsmlink chip. cel stays on and no crank. wtf!

also with power, i try and connect the link to obd2 port and it doesnt find it, i dont know if its supposed to or not at that point, just including that information

idk what else to try, i know everything is working because i went back to stock ecu chip and works fine

when i had chip sent i know they preflash it for you and i told them in the notes it was a 2g dsm with a 6bolt swap so im assuming that is correct and shouldnt be effecting it.

whats the problem!!!

You're positive you put the chip in correctly according to the sticker?

yes with the half moon on the left side of the chip, and its fully depressed, so i know its in all the way

If you did everything right it sounds like your chip may be damaged. I guess to be sure you could send it to ecm tuning, I'm sure they would be willing to check it out for you.
