HELP - Zt-2 Wideband install!!!!

I just purchased the Zt-2 Wideband AFR Meter and i need to know if i can use my stock o2 location(#2) without welding in a bung... Will it work this way by replacing a o2 with this or is there no other way other than welding the bung 16inches from turbo

Need to know ASAP if possible??

I would definitley place it further down in your exhaust. You really don't want the wideband sensor to see that excessive heat. It will just shorten the life of the sensor.

If you need to just pop it in the test pipe or pre cat somewhere.

Partially true. It has to be as far down the downpipe as possible but before the flexpipe to ensure accuracy.

I don't see the flex pipe being a "huge" factor. I mean people run wideband sniffers in the tail pipe all the time.. which I don't like to do

But honestly I have done pre flex pipe and after flex pipe on the same car, and didn't get much of a vary in the results.

Depending on how much wire you have to run, putting it after the flex-pipe, where the exhaust move's around a bit, can cause wire's to run and get lose or get open's. Just added security I guess.

Thats a fair enough explanation. I actually only installed it pre flex pipe to tune it for a few hours. I usually require cars to come with an easily accesible place to get the wideband in and out. Since DSMs are pretty tight, I like to put it in the test pipe. But I see your point if it would be installed all the time.
