Wire it in just like the graphic below, are you trying to log it into dsmlink or something similar?

RED - 12v Ignition Power Source (cigarette lighter is a good one)
BLACK - Chassis Ground
BLUE - Un-used
WHITE - If you want to log your AFR's just let me know and we'll figure out what wire you need to tap into.

Actually im using this to stop everyone from saying well if you had a wideband... so i got one. I have a old school SAFC (not a neo not a SAFC II) and that is was i was going to use for the mean time. My wideband will be here thursday just trying to get my self ready for all this, and size up the job.

Off topic, but if you know anything about tuning the SAFC after i install it i could use some tips with that aswell.

The wideband install is cake. Just follow the instructions gofer posted and you wont have any problems. Tuning with the afc is going to be tough without a logger, I dont know if you have one or not, Your profile does not list one. You cant really do much without one, Aside from wide open throttle tuning. People say the 550's and 2g maf balance each other out, But that is not always the case. Without seeing the fuel trims, You cant really do much to correct them. P.s. Recirculate you bov.

I tryed to recirculate my BOV today, but i couldnt find anything that would bend the way i need it to bend. (any tips on what i could use, or where i could find it before you post on that please take a look at the positioning of everything im not really seeing how it would work.

I allso was totally unaware that i needed a logger ><, but please lets not get to much off topic of my post

hey guys dont mean to steal this thread but i have an AEM wideband as well and i heard that you can use the o2 sensor that they provided for stock ecu narrow band as well? how does the wiring on that goes? and i dont have dsm link either im using a chip.... i dont know if i made sense but i pretty much wanna use 1 o2 sensor for the ecu and the wideband gauge....

To my knowledge, You have to have link, Or a standalone unit to do that. AEM does not have a narrowband simulation output on the uego wideband 02. Since your stock 02 is a 1 volt, You cant use a 5 volt 02. I dont know if you can have something added to the chip to make it happen.
As for the OP. You can go to the autoparts store and go through their radiator hose section and try to find something that will work for the recirc tube. I had to cut my tube and put a 2" section of pipe between the two pieces to make it rotate the way i needed to. Also, You can pick up a logger with cables and mmcd on it for like 50 bucks in the classifieds. I would say that a logger and a wideband should be the first things anyone should buy before modding begins, In that order. At least you got the expensive one out of the way first. Innovate makes a very nice wideband that comes with free logging software for a laptop if you didnt already order it. And it is around the same price as the uego.

oh i see so would you just recommend on just drilling another hole on my DP and just weld on a bung as an easier solution? if so is the wiring on it still the same?

Where would be a good place to get a logger for my car? What are the price range on those.

As for the bov recirc hose. Go to home depot and get a flex hose. its stripped blue and black.

this how it looks when on my old bov.

I'm not sure on the 1g but on the 2g 36" from the turbo takes you into the middle of the cat (unless you have a decat which I don't) so I'm installing my bung on the bend section facing up towards the turbo as that's the only possible place with out going into the flex or to close to the turbo! And many say put it before the flex section as if it splits it will send your readings off so its really a case of where you feel comfortable with it being! As I said I'm putting mine after the flex before the cat on the bend!

And on the logger innovate also do a good logger for your laptop or ipod/iphone and its works very well I'm pleased with it apart from I can't set the laptop up correctly as I'm very new to logging myself its a good bit of kit! Only thing is I don't think it logs knock? But again I'm new and I don't know what to use to see that LOL

I got my bung welded right before the cat.

I went to Advance Auto for my hose. They had a box of extra pieces of hosing that they let me sort through and let me just have it for free since it was only a small piece. AZ wanted to me to buy a whole hose and didn't have any "pieces" like Advance did.

I tapped into my cigarette lighter for power. But had an issue with the ground. I originally tried to use the ground on the lighter, but it gave me problems. I had to give it its own ground.

I like the picture, and the idea you had on the flex hose, but you cant see this aswell as i can, because you have a over view look the bov recirculator is at the same height as the upper ic pipe. That was were i ran into my problem

Choosing a logger for you car is really personal preference and your goals for the car. I actually use the software I have more so to fix problems when my car isn't running right than I do for tuning it. Some DSM'rs run a basic logger thats nothing more than a PDA and a cable that plugs into your OBD port. I'm not too familiar with this software but it does seem pretty popular if your just sticking to the basics as far as mod'ing goes i.e. SAFC, 660's, 16g. Click around this website and see if this is the better option for you and your car. www.1glink.com

I personally suggest you get ecmlinkV3 or v3lite depending on what you can afford. Ecmlink was BY FAR the best modification I've ever done to my car! Even it was 100% stock before I even bought an exhaust I would save up and get ecmlink. It helps troubleshoot, log, & tune when everythings working like its supposed to be. Check out their website... www.dsmlink.com Click around it and do some research, hell you can even watch the demos to get a feel for what its like. If you get it you'll even get a log in to the link forums and the owners (Tom and Dave) will help you tune/troubleshoot by looking through your logs.

Opinions are like assholes, everyone has one of their own! Do some research and decide on your own...

I dont have hundred of dollars right now for the whole link i think a good 100-200 bucks sounds fair for right now, but which of the 2 if that link would be better for the dollar i dont want to just buy something because it cost more must be way better you know.

The aem white wire is a narrowband simulation with the rotary knob at p04.

I went to home depot tryed to do that today couldnt get it to fit on there to good. I got 1 a nd a quarter blue, and black plastic pipe.

The differences between the full version of V3 and V3lite are basically the difference of a few features that are only needed if your going big hp/tq. You can always upgrade to the full version when the time comes and you only pay the difference between the two. For now V3lite will be perfect for you but the logger itself has to be a laptop, this could be an added expense if you don't already have one.

Heres a table of the differences... V3lite & V3 comparison

The difference in the costs of the kits is based on the PDA your getting from what I can tell but it might be a good idea to get the better of the two. I used to run a PDA logger, SAFC, & wideband setup for about a year and I always had headaches from the loggers byte timing being too slow.
