I got my wideband hooked up today. The bung was welded in 37" after the turbo (I was told no closer than 36) and I was told before the cat but I have not cat so n/p there. I hooked it up, calibrated the controller and I'm running very rich. At wot it hits 10.0 and if I let off the gas completely while its in gear it goes to 20.0? Sound right or is something weird? I'm new to this but I'm ready to learn. Been reading up on this subject just wanted some info from ppl with experience. I knew my car was rich but this seems like its too rich (is it) I have a fmic full Exhaust recirculated bov and 14b on 13 psi

With a stock tune yeah sounds close.I think I have leaned mine out to 11:0 and don't care to go much leaner then that when you let off the gas it is just more air then fuel that's probably why it reads lean like that.

Ok cool I was just afraid it was a serious issue...I plan on getting a tune but wanna get bigger injectors and push 15 psi first. With a 99 ecu can they tune the stock ecu or do I need some type of engine management?

your wideband is reading correctly. anytime on decel the wideband will lean all the way out until hitting gas again. when crusing and idle it should be around 14.7 and at wot with stock tune is usually around where your at.

No I haven't i will though soon I just got in the car again to make sure my info is precise its 10.9-11.9 at idle before driving the car. After driving then letting idle its reading 10.0-10.8. Basically giving the car any gas it goes to 10.0 even cruising at 2k.

I dunno if it matters much but I'm also right around 10.0-10.4 at idle does that also sound right on stock tune?I'm probably closer to 11.0-12.5 cruising

^^^ Is this when the cars is still warming up? If not then that is way too rich.
