Help with tranny I.D.

I picked up this tranny from a friend. He told me it was from a 91 AWD, although im thinking its from a FWD. Can anyone confirm this?

I dont see the shaft out for the transfer case. My limited knowledge says its also a FWD tranny.

Looks like your friend ripped you off. It appears to be a turbo fwd tranny, I'm interested in taking it off your hands if you don't want it. PM me and let me know.

NO its a fwd . The awd has 4bolt holes and a shaft sticking out the side that goes into the transfer case.
