In my last post I showed a pic of my car with some stuff done to it. One thing was, I had them use PS to smoke my tail lights. What I need help with is, I need to know how to remove the tail light assemblies. And then how to take out the red plastic parts in the tail lights, if that's possible without screwing them up. Once I have the assembly out, or apart, what can I use to tint them? Can I use the spray tint that RC guys use to tint there RC car bodies? It's basically tint in an aresol(SP) can. Assuming I can use it, what should I do to prep the piece before I spray it. And how many coats should I apply? Will how many coats I apply affect how dark it is? Also, is there any kind of clear coat that I can put on after it to give it a gloss effect? Also, can I do the same to my headlights? Or would it not look good?

to take out the tail lights youre going to have to take out the panels in the trunk and the nuts that hold in the lights are exposed, take a socket wrench to them. top open them up, i'd try to put them in the oven for a bit to melt the glue and open them. dont blame me if you ruin something, im just tossing out some ideas, im not resposible for any damages that you'll do. now, to tint them try this. go to a auto store and buy some clear coat and some black paint. mix it 50/50 and lightly mist the outside of the lights. if you want it darker, do another thin layer, dont forget, you can always add more its a lot harder to take it off. headlights i wouldnt do if i was you. i mean theyre the lights that make you see at night, so why make them not as bright, if anything do an HID kit, it actually helps to see. hopefully you have some basic knowledge on painting so i wont get into explaining how to prepare the lights before painting. if you dont IM me or PM me, i'll explain. good luck.
