Just a question to anyone that can help me out....How hard is it to bolt on an aftermarket o2 housing?

And what do you guys think about an o2 housing with an external dump tube....good or bad?

And is there any links out there on how to install one of these....I installed my full exhaust system from the downpipe back and that wasn't too difficult at all...but the o2 housing looks like it could be a little work....

Can someone give me some tips on this and help me out?

e-mail me at [email protected] or reply on here....thanks guys!

If you want an external dump tube, then you would have to run an external wastegate. which means you would have to buy an external wastegate, and weld/try to remove your internal one. i would forget about that, too much work.

Wrong.

You can dump an internal gate to the atmosphere.

See.

Yup, it's really personal prefrence!! If your on a big turbo..i'd get an external dump!!

Yes but you just blurted out incorrect information. You don't need an external wastegate for an external wastegate dump.

Besides what he wants, your statement was untrue. I'm not trying to be a dick, but please know what you are talking about before you post. We don't want people getting confused. :thumb:

But for what he is wanting and is talking about, he wants something a little simpler.

So go buy an Aftermarket O2 housing with a dump tube!!!

I don't mean to hijack the thread or anything but could anybody explain the difference between a internal and external dump? Which is better and why?
