I know this is in the wrong section ,but seems as I cant post anywhere else .I have a 97 gst I have a 97 ecu with750cc injectors tuning with a safc neo.... works great !!! I recently bought dsmlink ver 2.5 and downloaded v3 i bought v2 and the eprom ecu already socketed and ready to go . Well after i installed dsmlink and changed plugs around ,and inverted cas ,i am having a misfiring problem ??????

-example If I am driving and holding a steady rpm it seems like i lose one cylinder . only way to get it back to normal is turn the key off then on ..and its fine as long as i dont hold a steady rpm for little bit . so I switched my 97 ecu in and neo and its fine works good . what do you think the problem could be ?????? when it was misfiring i pulled over and cylinder one wasnt shooting fuel . but once i turn key off then on all is good till it happens again ..

umm ... 2 things i can think of . one in the dtc tap , u can turn off misfires , the other is to wire in a volume knob into i think the baro wire . im not sure if this will help you , i really thought it was just an issue with 6 bolt swaps ....

im not sure of what your talking about . turn off dtc ? how do you do that and a volume knob wire in ? so six bolt swap have this issue ? i have a 1 g cas btw

well would trying these thing work in my situation since i had a 97 ecu and it was working fine then the 95 eprom misfires ???

ok figured it out . i turned off the dtc misfire and my miss went away no more limp mode. so this means 95-1996 ecus wont support a 6 bolt swap into a 2g ,but if you have a 97 ecu you will be fine my 97 ecu doesnt mis with the 1g cas not sure about the 98-99 ecus though .
