Oakville,
Hi, I guess i should have posted on the newbie forum first, anyway I have a 92 Talon n/t
that does not start I had the Ecm redone not that long ago and the car ran great until it
died again. I had the Ecm rechecked and it is okay.

I hear the Mpi relay so my next step is to locate the ignition coil and the power transistor,
I am new at this diagnostic stuff so I would appreciate any feedback.

Thankyou............

On a 4G63 the coil and PTM are bolted to the intake manifold over on the timing belt side. The coil on top and the PTM on the side below it. Just follow the spark plug wires and you'll find the coil, then look on the side of the intake below it for the PTM.

Thank you Steve I will use and appreciate your advice...

I am having a spark problem and before I post, I am gathering info and other peoples colutions and fixes try them out myself to see if anything works. but I would like to know ware the transistor pack is. I know ware the coil pack is located the transistor pack should be close by but I can't see it or I dont know what it looksl like etc.

I would think on both of your cars the transistor would be below the coil bolted to a bracket
the power transistor is attached to a harness just like the coil has a harness or clip attached to it. I think there where three bolts on the bracket and when i pulled it out it was labelled Mitshubishi power transistor a small square piece with harness pins don't know how else to describe it....bob........
