ok, ive been searching everywhere for a solution to my problem, and i cant get any staight answers. My tsi has a freshly rebuilt motor, with under 1000 miles, and i had it rebuilt by a well known DSM guy in my area. I went to hook up my autometer boost gauge, and the typical vacuum line underneath the brake fluid resivoir used to accurately do so just doesnt exist on my vehicle. It appears that almost all my vacuum lines are either missing, short-cutted, or cut off. No solenoids, nothing. I have no idea if im missing any important lines or what. I would really like for someone to direct me in a direction here as to where i can figure out where all these vacuum lines are supposed to go. Basically, what lines are essential, what needs to be capped, and so on.

If you're talking about the brake booster line connected to the rear fitting on the intake manifold, there is a check valve in the stock hose, I suggest picking up an OEM replacement.
