ok I just got my car broke in and it was runing awesome but I was driven along in 3 gear and the rpms jumped around all crazy like from 3,000 to 4,000 to 3,500....ok i freaked out and pulled off the road and it calmed down....the i got out looked around and didnt see anything wrong. I jumped back in and drove for like 2 secs and it freaked out and but this time it was in 1st gear and it sounded like it was missing and i pulled off the road agin. Now it was sitting at idle but it droped to like 500 rpms about to die and i cut it off agin. after looking around and not finding anything i started it agin and it sat and with out me it reved up to 1,000-2,000 over and over agin i was really freaking out now soo i cut it off and let it sit for a min and started it agin and it was fine and i drove it normal for about 30 miles and i was on the interstate and it did it agin but not as bad.....this time i was in 5th gear and was running about 3,500 and i had to pass some one and when i got on it it freaked out a lil bit but i droped back to 3,500 and it was fine.....ok any help would be awesome im lost on this one......and sry about the spelling and all im in class and doing 3 things at one time LOL but anyway PLEASE help THANKS :dsm:

It sounds kinda like its idle surging, but not at idle? Please give a little better description of it "freaking out".

Exactly what mine did when the LICP blew off. You're pulling air somewhere after the MAF. A boost leak test probably isn't nessesary because the leak is going to be so massive you should be able to spot it just checking around.
