Ok, I just installed my rebuilt block( rings, bearings, walls honed) and I started it up and it idled fine, but when I would give it gas WOT it would sometimes make a popping noise out of the intake and hesitate at low RPM's, But when I would hit the gas WOT at about 3k it would be fine. It has good oil pressure! Also it seems taht their is a little bit of air comming out of my turboxs RAFL bov! I need help!!!

Kyle,

my timing marks all line up! I need to check what degree it is tomorrow. Can it be anyting else besides my timing!

WOT on a rebuilt engine a is a big no no just letting u know. your not suppose to WOT that car till that rebuild has atleast 700 miles i would say to be safe.

I gave WOT in nuetral up to 4K max! When I lightly hit the gas it will bog down also??? Should I take it to a shop and have them check the timing before I waiste a 1200 rebuilt engine?

3 degrees isnt that bad, some people have no clue and are running it way off, i know a guy who forgot to check his, and when i told him to, his was at 25 degrees BTDC....3 degrees wont cause ur problems.
