hey guys - so my car struggled to turn on this morning, and it sounded kind of funny @ idle... when i popped the hood and revved it i noticed a sparking noise right around the valve cover area - i checked the plugs - no cracks, i checked the firing order - perfect, i checked to see if the timing was on tact - it was off by one tooth (nothing major)... i ran the OBDII diagnostic for my check engine - and it gave me code P0300 which translates to "Multiple/Random engine cylinder misfire." --- when im on full throttle, the car boosts, the external wastegate opens up, and there is no productivity - it accelerates to about 4000 RPM and hesitates, or holds back/cuts off. - any similar encounters or suggestions ? thanks.

Hearing that noise probably means the spark is arking off of something, which would most likely be why it is throwing that code. I would jusyt replace the plugs and wires. That should stop the arking. If it still has the code afterwards then test the coil. Make sure to use ngk plugs.

i just replaced my plugs and my wires - no productivity - tomorrow i will attempt to change the coils and see where that leads me...
