So, after a MLS headgasket, arp head studs, new cam seals, new waterpump, new waterpump gasket and o-ring, new aluminum radiator, new 12" electric fans, new thermostat, new coolant/water(~75/25 mix}, and a new thermostat cap. My car is still runnin around 220 degrees. is this ok? i thought our cars were suppose to run cooler than that. I have a stock overflow tank mounted by the battery due to the front mount intercooler. copper exhaust manifold gasket with a very small leak on the very far passenger side.

still running 220 degrees based off link. however on the stock gauge it never goes past the actual coolant symbol. isnt that where they are suppose to run? the beginning/middle of the "coolant" symbol on the gauge? is there a setting in link that would make it read higher than what it is or somethin? also for some reason the overflow was spitting coolant. {is this qualified as pushing coolant?}. any ideas on it?

no, the term pushing coolant falls under:

a- pushing coolant into oil chambers usually thru the HG.
b- pushing coolant thru head gasket into cylinders
c- all the above

link shows info off of what ecu says, so it is what it is, and yes it should be right under half on the gage.
