I wouldn't say overheating but the car is definietly 15+* hotter with my new manifold. I went from an sbr manifold with a heatshield to a bare dnp manifold. The runners are so close that it's almost impossible to heat wrap. While idling I'll sit at aboiut 193*. I've done every cooling upgrade short of ducting. I was thinking either that or an external oil cooler would lower my temps.

Nope. I will after this weekend. Obviously I'm new to ceramic coating so do you suggest I do it myself or have it professionally done?

Ceramic coating is a lot like powdercoating. You need to have the application tools and an oven to properly bake the material. In other words, have someone do it for you. I'd suggest Jet Hot. Just make sure you go for Jet Hot 2000. I'm running Jet Hot Sterling, which looked great for a few days but after a few pulls, the temps got above the point where the coating looses it's luster (i.e. it turned dull gray). In addition, ducting will certainly help, as will an external cooler. There's a great post on how to mount an external oil cooler in the tech section. Good luck!
