help please 95 talon

new to the dsm's and could use a little help with some things with my 95 talon. i bought the car a few months ago and was missing the rad, fans and coolant bottle. I bought a new rad and a 12 inch slim fan. with the fan it has two wires and was going to just hook it up to run with the high - and high + but read on here that i should hook both the low and high up and curious if that would burn out the fan. Also can i get away with running one fan as i wont be using the ac in my car. aswell as i am having trouble finding the coolant bottle and was wondering what other cars i could get one off of if any other then the avengers and stealth? if anyone could help me out that would be great as this is pretty much all that is needed to have the car on the road now. Also the car is a 420a 5 speed if that helps at all

^ Yes wire both high and low speed. This way the car can determine what's best for the car. I think you will over heat with one slim fan, as me and many others have not had luck with just one slim fan. I would HIGHLY suggest the 2 slim fan/shroud combo. Ebay has them for pretty cheap (roughly $150-180 shipped).

I would run two fans. If you can find a set of oem fans, that would be great. But if your having a major overheating problem, then I would get spal fans. Heres a link to a overflow bottle but for the gst. You can probably find one at a junkyard for dirt cheap. Or you can make your own. All it is is a bottle that can suck some out if needed.

For your bottle, if you are not really worried about looks, get a 32 ounce gatorade, drink it, get some high heat silicone and a rubber hose that fits the overflow spout on your radiator cap, push the hose through the cap, seal it with the silicone and mount it where you have room. I do this on my race cars all the time and for some reason the gatorade bottle just wont melt, even right next to my high flow aluminum radiator running 250 degrees+

I guess I should piggy back a question in here, I am actually in a similar situation. I have to put a slim fan on my car because the stock fan won't clear my turbo setup. But as he pointed out the stock fan plug has like 4 or so wires going to it and the slim fan has 2. Does anyone happen to know what each wire does?

Thanks for the advice everyone. its all very helpful. I have been trying to find the oem fans localy but been having a hard time. I do have an extra slim fan laying around so im wondering if i could wire both them up together or should i wire one up to the main line and other to the a/c? this would probably be a temp fix until i could find some oem fans.

if you have the room use the stock fans. if you cant find them locally im sure someone on here is selling some in the classifieds.
