Okay, So currently if you look at my mods on my vehicle profile you can see what i have, and what needs to be installed. I am ordering a FMIC to go along with my Fuel Management System. I really want to get in the 12's, and im not sure if i should keep my 14b ported and clipped turbo, or get a EvoIII 16g OR Big 16g. Which one spools faster?

Can someone help me, and tell me whats better? The Evo or the Big 16g? Also, is there alot of capibilities of running 12's with the 14b?

Lastly, i will have my car tuned once i get my stuff installed, and later on get a DSM link.

The 14b is plenty capable of taking you to the 12's, and beyond.

Also, how do you expect to accurately tune your car without a datalogger?

And, with DSMlink, it is a datalogger AND tuning tool, so I don't believe you will need your A'PEXi S-AFC II anymore.

The evo 3 is an all around better turbo than both the b16-g and the 14b. However the 14b is quite capable of getting you to your goals. It will all come down to the tuning, and you are making the right decision in picking up the link.

Good luck

As noted the 14b is capable of 12's althought a little tougher feat than it would be on the evo III turbo. However to me its not that big of a jump going from the 14 to evo III, it would be more wise to just step up to a bigger turbo like the 50 trim.

You should actually be able to hit 12's with your 14b as it is since you've already got enough fuel mods. The only thing left that you'd really need is an intercooler upgrading, since pushing a 14b to run 12's will definitely cause it to heat soak the stock SMIC.

If you were to upgrade, either 16g will be more than enough for 12's. A 50 trim would be overkill for his goals and will not be nearly as fun to drive for him if he's gotten used to the quick spool of a 14b.
