HELP! Oil pressure really low after rebuild and BS removal (vfaq)

I need help finding out what would cause low oil pressure. I just had the engine on my 98 eclipse GST rebuilt, i removed both balance shafts according to the VFAQ and now i have really low oil pressure. The VFAQ states to turn the front balance shaft bearing so that the oil holes doesnt line up, and we did that, it also specifies that theres no need to turn the rear bearing because no oil goes through it, so we didnt turn it. We started the car and everything sounds good so far except the oil pressure, it barely even reads oil pressure at idle and only goes up a litle bit when we accelerate it to 2500 rpms. I really need help in finding out what went wrong, so if anyone could please help me, i would greatly appreciate it.

Balance shafts or not, you should still have oil pressure. Sounds like the oil pump.

I put a new oil pump.

After reviewing the VFAQ and speaking to my mechanic, i came to find out that the VFAQ is not clear enough as to the balance shaft bearings, it does not specify that you need to turn the front bearings on both balance shafts. We had only turned the bearing on the front balance shaft as stated in the VFAQ, not the one in the rear BS, so now i have a massive oil pressure loss through the oilfeed hole in the rear balance shaft front bearing, which is going to cost me an additional $450 to remove the oil pump cover, oil pan and rear balance shaft front bearing to turn it so there is no oil going through the oilfeed hole and bearing. (THIS REALLY FUKN SUCKS!)
