Crap! A few miles after i changed my headgasket the car started bucking and having idle problems Then i got a cel for a misfire. The car still pulls like crazy....So, I figured it was about time for a sparkplug change. When i went to go change them, I noticed that i had oil on all 4 sparkplugs?! I also Had oil leaking from the manifold. Whats wrong here? Did I not do the timing right? Is my head crap?

The oil is on the manifold like this, but not so extreme...

could it be the timing is off....maybe that would explain having ALL 4 covered with oil

did you change the spark plugs before cleaning out all the oil? did all the oil go down into the cylinders while you were changing the spark plugs? did you then drive the car and all the oil in the clinders cam out the exhaust side of the head? hope that helps with your trouble shooting

There were no problems with the original headgasket. It was a fully rebuilt motor with 10000 miles on it. When I bough it, I figured i'd switch out the headgasket to a mitsubishi metal one and change the oem headstuds to ARP's.

Me and my buddy changed them. We torqued the headstuds to 90ft/lbs. and used copper spray on the headgasket to be safe.

We checked both surfaces for flatness. The head looked great, and so did the block.

Yes, the spark plugs were changed after the oil was cleaned out. There is NO oil leaking from the valve cover gasket ...AT all. I'm using a brand new valve cover with no cracks and brand new gaskets

There is oil in all 4 combustion chamers. Its not enough to shoot out the exhaust, but its enough to foul the sparkplugs and coat the manifold....and eventually leak from it.
